My Monster Me
Join our speech pathologist, Holly Mitchell, and specialist art teacher, Kasia Janczewski from The Make Mistakes School of Art in a collaborative, therapeutic art workshop.
Inspired by the beautiful picture book The Colour Monster, by Anna Llenas, kids will create a monster portrait of themselves through drawing, sculpting, painting and collage. Little artists will express feelings through the colour and design of their ‘monster me’ and then apply a range of techniques to create a portrait.
Who?
Neurodivergent kids and children who have social/emotional difficulties + a parent/carer.
Ages 6 - 12 years
If your child is not currently getting supports with Playful Paediatrics’ speech pathologist, Holly Mitchell, you will need to book in for an initial 15 minute consultation to ensure we know exactly how to best support them.
